❓ Frequently Asked Questions
How do I fill the water bowl without flooding the enclosure?
Use a small pipette or syringe to add a few drops of water directly into the bowl. Jumping spiders only need a very small amount — enough to create visible droplets on the surface is sufficient.
Is the bowl safe if my spider walks through the water?
Yes — the shallow design means the water depth is minimal. Phidippus species are comfortable around small water sources and will drink from the surface without risk of drowning.
How often should I clean the bowl?
We recommend rinsing the bowl with clean water every 2–3 days and wiping the PETG interior with a damp cloth weekly. The non-porous PETG surface prevents bacterial build-up.
What other Gothic Range products does this pair with?
The Chalice Bowl is designed to coordinate with the Batty Coffin Hide, Black Sparkly Shelf, and Black Sparkly Rope Bridge. Grab everything together in the Gothic Bundle.
