Will my jumping spider actually use the hide?
Yes — jumping spiders are naturally inclined to seek out dark, enclosed spaces at height to build their sleeping hammocks. Position the coffin hide near the top of the enclosure and your spider will typically claim it within a few days.

Is the magnet strong enough to hold the hide securely?
Absolutely. Our magnets have been tested on the thickest acrylic enclosures currently on the market. The hide will not slip or fall even with an active Phidippus regius inside.

Can I reposition the hide without disturbing my spider?
Yes — simply slide the external magnetic backing plate to your desired position from outside the enclosure. We recommend doing this slowly to avoid startling your spider.
