The Micro Sanctum is our most compact arboreal habitat, designed specifically for spiderlings (slings) and small spider species that deserve a home as stylish as they are. This enclosure brings our famous canopy-style design to a miniature scale, ensuring your tiniest pets feel secure from day one, made with 5mm thick acrylic.

Compact Perfection

• The Signature Canopy Top: Even at this scale, we've included the pitched canopy roof. This encourages your sling to build its nest at the highest point, away from the door, reducing the risk of web destruction during maintenance.
• Small but Mighty Magnets: Don't let the size fool you. We've used ultra-strong, miniature magnets to keep the enclosure perfectly secure. They provide a satisfying "snap" and peace of mind that no tiny escape artists will find a way out.
• 1.5mm Micro-Ventilation: Airflow is vital for slings, but so is security. Our precision-drilled 1.5mm holes are small enough to contain D.hydei fruit flies.
• The Perfect "Sling" Dimensions: Measuring at 7.5cm (H) x 5cm (W) x 5cm (D) (approx. 3" x 2" x 2"), this is the ideal footprint for a growing spider to feel cosy rather than overwhelmed.
• Integrated Accessory Mount: The base of the enclosure is equipped with a small, powerful magnet, designed to work perfectly with our optional magnetic mini-tree (like the one shown in the picture). This allows you to quickly and securely anchor the decor in place for a stable environment.

What size spiders is the Micro Sanctum suitable for?
The Micro Sanctum is designed for spiderlings (slings) and small juvenile jumping spiders. It is ideal for i2–i5 stage Phidippus regius and similar species. Once your spider reaches sub-adult or adult size, we recommend upgrading to a larger enclosure.

Will it contain D.hydei fruit flies?
Yes — the ventilation holes are precision-drilled at 1.5mm, which is small enough to contain Drosophila hydei (large fruit flies), the standard feeder for slings at this stage.

Is the enclosure escape-proof?
Yes — the ultra-strong miniature magnets provide a secure "snap" closure. Combined with the 1.5mm ventilation holes, the Micro Sanctum is designed to keep even the smallest slings safely inside.

What is the enclosure made from?
The Micro Sanctum is constructed from 5mm thick, crystal-clear acrylic. It is lightweight, durable, and easy to clean with warm water and mild soap.
