• The Canopy Top: An elevated penthouse section where your spider can build its thickest hammocks without being disturbed during daily feedings.
• The "Safety Flat" System: We include an additional flat top panel. When it's time for a deep clean, simply use the flat top to safely "trap" your spider in the canopy section, keeping them secure and calm while you scrub the base.

Why does the canopy top design matter?
Jumping spiders instinctively build their silk retreats at the highest point of their enclosure. The canopy top encourages them to nest there — away from the door — so you can open the enclosure for feeding and maintenance without tearing their web.

How does the "Safety Flat" system work?
The enclosure includes an additional flat top panel. During deep cleans, you place the flat panel over the canopy opening to safely contain your spider in the upper section while you clean the base — no stress for you or your spider.

Is the ventilation small enough to contain fruit flies?
Yes — the precision-drilled 1.5mm ventilation holes are small enough to contain Drosophila hydei (large fruit flies) and even small slings, while still providing excellent cross-flow airflow.
