How do I reposition the shelf without disturbing my spider?
Simply slide the external magnetic backing plate slowly along the outside of the enclosure wall. The internal magnet will follow. Always move slowly to avoid startling your spider.

Can I use multiple shelves in one enclosure?
Absolutely — stacking two or three shelves at different heights creates a natural climbing circuit that encourages active hunting behaviour in Phidippus species. Pair with the Bone Rope Bridge for a complete arboreal setup.

Will the shelf hold if my spider jumps onto it at speed?
Yes — our magnets are tested specifically for active jumping spiders. The snap-fit hold is strong enough to withstand the impact of a full-speed jump from a Phidippus regius.
