Will my jumping spider use the hide?
Yes — jumping spiders instinctively seek out dark, enclosed spaces at height to build their sleeping hammocks. The bore-hole entry and elevated position make this hide particularly attractive to Phidippus regius and P. audax. Most spiders claim it within a few days of introduction.
How does the magnetic top work?
The removable magnetic top allows you to attach the hide from above the enclosure lid, rather than reaching inside. Simply lower the hide into position and the magnets will hold it securely against the enclosure wall.
Can I check on my spider without disturbing the hide?
Yes — the front entry design means you can often see your spider’s silk hammock from outside the enclosure. For a closer look, the magnetic top can be gently lifted without fully removing the hide.
