The BUGHUB

We all have a passion pets here at the Bug Hub. What started out as a hobby more than 20 years ago has now become a way of life for our family; even our 7 year old has his pet crabs and a tarantula. We never thought we'd end up here though! So thank you for coming to our page for a peek at what we have and may have available in the future.

It started with lizards, and now it's a zoo!

We have snakes, spiders and various other bugs in our menagerie (not forgetting the chickens of course..), but the majority of our creatures are isopods and roaches.

It's a roach's life.

There are some amazing and beautiful cockroaches out there. At the Bug Hub, we have 16 species currently breeding; Emeralds (Pseudoglomeris magnifica, which are a gorgeous metallic green, making them highly sought after roaches), Sapphires (Corydia yasumatsui, Small metallic blue roaches, still fairly new to the hobby and harder to find), Orange Dominos to name a few! Home grown roaches will be regularly updated, so stay tuned.

We started designing our own bug accessories after wanting more variety for our own critters. Now, we have a good range of feeding bowls, water dishes and various other accessories for your inverts. As a family, we are conscious of our impact on the environment, so try our best to reduce our eco-footprint.
